We are constantly in need of quality fabric to facilitate the creation of hundreds of masks. If you or someone you know has old clothes, or any other cotton materials, we'd be happy to send one of our volunteers to take it off your hands!
Have you taken matters into your own hands and started creating masks? We'd be happy to help you distribute them to healthcare workers and hospitals in need. Alternatively, if you would like to start - let us know, we can provide you with the necessary knowledge to start making masks for yourself!
We are constantly in talks with different organizations to try and widen our scope of activities. If you are unsure of how you can help, get in contact with us and we will do our best to find you a position through our channels, or suggest a way you can help out your community!
Surgical masks are the minimal protective requirement at the moment in the Czech Republic. Since early days of this crisis, there has been a shortage of masks not only in pharmacies, but in hospitals and clinics all around the country. Our student and citizen volunteers are looking for help sourcing materials, sewing masks, and distributing them to the necessary locations.
We're constantly trying to improve our methods and approaches to better understand and fight this crisis. To do that, we need data...lots and lots of data. We have students gathering every kind of data imaginable - clinical, social, or epidemiological.
If you're good on the computer, and would like to help us gather, compile, and process all of these materials, we can definitely find a job for you to do!
An answer to a simple question may not seem like much, but sometimes it's all a person needs to feel safe and secure. We're coordinating with several hotlines, and are in need to multilingual staff to answer questions, no matter how small. In the future we hope to provide a helpline in several languages to answer any questions that may come up.
The government has called 5th and 6th year students from all Czech Medical Universities into action. Are you ready to do your part?
While we already have many Czech students in the field, and more are being trained and sent out every day, we are happy to take English curriculum applicants at the time.
Though clinical placement heavily depends on ones ability to communicate in Czech, and many other legal factors, we will do our best to find you a spot!
